On the occasion of the 89th edition of the Monza Grand Prix, Logitech, an official McLaren partner, organized the ‘Ready to Race’ in-store event across 7 retail stores.

Objective
The objective was to promote the ‘Driving Force G29’ steering wheel and pedal driving simulator for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, as well as the F1 2018 GP video game, offering a unique experience for all participants. The aim is to give everyone the opportunity to test their skills behind the wheel to achieve the best possible time, by participating in an immersive gaming experience on the Monza circuit.
Our solution
Target accepted the challenge and handled the logistics and setup of both the gaming area and the Playseat kits, to give attendees a unique gaming experience. During the three-day event, our promoters demonstrated great proactivity and enthusiasm, engaging an average of more than 200 people.
The data and results of each participant were then recorded in strict compliance with the new GDPR privacy regulations, for an effective lead generation operation. After the qualifications, we invited the holders of the 20 best times to the final race on Saturday, September 1st.
The top 3 then received a personalized certificate, autographed by the McLaren drivers!
